Martin Luther On Homosexuality And Abortion :

“If I profess, with the loudest voice and the clearest exposition, every portion of the truth of God except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christianity. Where the battle rages the loyalty of the soldier is proved; and to be steady on all the battle-field besides is mere flight and disgrace to him if he flinches at that one point.”
~Martin Luther, Reformer.

A witty link! I know a "Christian" blogger who could do with contemplating this... Might quote, next time he supports gay "marriage"...!

That's "Martin Luther On Homosexuality And Abortion"? Did he realise that's what he was talking about? I'm not sure he would be so happy with this flagrant eisegesis.

Instead we could hear what he says on 'the Jews': "If they could kill us all, they would gladly do it. They do it often, especially those who pose as physicians—though sometimes they help—for the devil helps to finish it in the end". Ooooooh watch out that your doctor isn't Jewish! Oh well, at least it's easier to interpret than this homosexuality/abortion business.

Obviously, Luther did not specifically mention the sin of homosexuality nor the murder of innocent babies in the womb in the quote above. But if you take time to read it and you are honest with what he is saying, when he says; [if we ignore] "that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ"
We live in an age where the devil is attacking unborn babies and promoting the filth of same sex, if we are Christians who love truth and desire to confess Christ we cannot ignore these areas of wickedness and rebellion to God.
