The Roman Catholic Savior :

Roman Catholicism has made a name for itself as a religion that highly exalts Mary the mother of Jesus. In fact, when most Christians are asked what false teachings they are aware of in Roman Catholicism, the idolatry of Mary is mentioned first. A great number of popes throughout history have made a point to demonstrate that Mary is to be central to their legacy. When John Paul II, was shot, he cried out repeatedly, "Mary save me."

And yet, they deny their worship of Mary!! Praise be to God for those He frees from this deadly poison, known as the Roman Catholic church, the true church of Satan.

I am glad to hear it clarified that Roman Catholics deny the worship of Mary because we worship God. She is not God. She is the mother of God. To honor her as the mother of God is to worship Jesus who is God. If the archangel Gabriel honors Mary as full of grace even before Jesus was conceived in her womb, then those of us less worthy than both the archangel and Mary should honor her just as many of the popes have done since they have been placed there by God. Peter was first placed there by Jesus (God) and then Peter's successors were placed there by the power given to Peter through the Holy Spirit (God). Hopefully, that clarifies a common misconception for those open to the truth. This was a great post to comment on. God bless you.

Brian, God does not have a Mother, to honor Mary as the "Mother of God" is to commit the sin of idolatry and the Word of God who does not lie tells us that no idolater will inherit heaven;

1Corinthians 6:9-10 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

As for the fallacy that Mary is more worthy than any other saint I would direct your attention to the words of Jesus here :

Luke 11:27 As he [Jesus] said these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, "Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!" (Mary)
Luke 11:28 But he said, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"

Did you see that Brian ? hear the Word of God and keep it.

Repent and believe the Gospel.
